The CALE (Calitate in educatie) project has been developed by the CMC (Casa de Meserli a Constructoril) the bilateral entrepeneurs/trade unions body which is involved in the training for the construction sector in Romania.
The general objective of the project is to "develop human resources by creating, developing, and implementing mechanisms and instruments for improving the quality assurance within the permanent training, mainly in the construction sector", through:

1. The analysis and monitoring of the labor market within the construction sector in order to obtain a clear view of the present situation and for identifying the specific work force requirements within the companies.
2. The development of a set of instruments for ensuring the quality of permanent professional training including an employment map of the standard working sectors concerning 10 specific professional skills, of specific evaluation instruments for the required skills, and of module programs for professional training.
3. The creation of a team of trainers and evaluators for professional skills capable of identifying solutions capable of satisfying training requirements.
4. The accession to the European structures for the recognition of professional qualifications and for the exchange of good practices and the application of innovative cross-border activities for ensuring the quality of permanent training in the specific sector.

The project will have a 36 months duration, with a budget of 18.128.963 Lei (slightly over 5 million euros) while SDI Group's rate is of 6.646.774 Lei (about 1.8 million euros). Project Manager: Mascia Bertoni.


Calisis, the second project has been developed on behalf of the Consiliul Na?ional de Formarea Profesionala a Adul?ilor (CNFPA), the trilateral body (entrepeneurs, trade unions, and government) reporting directly to the Labor Ministry, which manages the Permanent Professional Trainig system in Romania especially in the accreditation field.
The project is aimed at the "implementation of a national system for ensuring permanent training quality, through:

1. The processing of recommendations for the improvement of the regulations and procedures concerning the permanent professional training quality system according to the European reference framework.
2. The improvement of the accreditation of the suppliers of professional training for adults and the implementation of a system capable of insuring the quality of PPT (Permanent Professional Training) services according to the European directives.
3. The achievement of a training and certification system for evaluators involved in permanent professional training.
4. The implementation of a national certification procedure and a register for the evaluators.

The project will have a 36 months duration, with a budget of 17.767.400 Lei (about 4.9 million euros) while SDI Group's rate is of 3.988.600 Lei (about 1.1 million euros). Project Manager: Davide Pinna.
