The mapping process consist of the following phases:
- The individual fills out a self-assessment
questionnaire describing his/her role
and activities
- TILS provides guidance on how to complete
the questionnaire
- The individual completes the self-assessment
process
- TILS assists managers in assessing
their staff
- TILS assists managers in assessing
participants’ existing skills
- Managers discuss the results of the
analysis with the individuals concerned
- TILS works with managers to discuss
the desirable profile for specific “professional
families” and roles
